1969 .... me as a kid in the car. We would drive from our home to a camp on Cayuga Lake. This song was on the radio. Sun streaming in the windows. Beautiful landscapes on all sides.

BJ’s voice, with its unique phrasing and ornamental was just the best, and he was so gorgeous that it’s hard to look away. Both attributes stayed with him until the end. To my mind, he was the GOAT.

He is so gifted !! He has heart and soul in his voice ! I am 74 years old now but I listen to this song and it brings me back to my 20s living in Santa Barbara Ca. Just starting a happy life with my husband and I wish I could go back and relieve just one more day of that life I had! Glen Campbell was really popular then too. ! I would have his music playing loudly while cleaning and cooking.
